Ayo Pool at Nicholls set to reopen Monday

Michael Matherne, director of campus recreation at Nicholls State University, cleans Ayo Pool in preparation for the facility’s reopening on Monday, July 11.

The pool has been closed for renovations, including a new liner as well as upgrades to the pump, motor and electrical system. Use of the pool is free to Colonel Card-carrying students, faculty, staff and retirees and $3 per day for accompanied guests. Community memberships, valid through Labor Day, are also available. The pool is open 1:30 to 6:30 p.m., six days per week – closed Fridays. For further information, call (985) 448-4828.
