THIBODAUX – Friends and alumni of Nicholls State University are invited to enjoy a day of recreation at the 2011 Nicholls Alumni Federation John Brady Golf Tournament, slated for Friday, Oct. 21, at La Tour Golf Club in Mathews, La.
The four-person scramble, 18-hole tournament will begin with a shotgun start, including two or three flights with tee times at 8 a.m. and 1 p.m., depending upon the number of participants. Male and female alumni and friends of the university are all welcome to participate.
The $600 fee, which covers a four-member team, includes greens and cart access; tourney shirts; refreshments; food; a team photo with Gary Barbaro, Class of 1980 graduate, golf tourney chairman and former Nicholls and NFL football standout; and two tickets per team member to the alumni federation’s 2011 homecoming reception and pep rally.
Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis, and payment in advance is necessary via check, credit card or PayPal. Checks must be made payable to the Nicholls Alumni Federation and mailed to P.O. Box 2158, Thibodaux, La., 70310. Team members’ names must be included with the entry fee.
Corporate sponsorships are available and include identification on every available form of print and electronic media. Sponsorships also offer tee signs; a photo with Barbaro; and opportunities to include promotional products in ditty bags and display banners around the golf course.
