THIBODAUX – The Louisiana Center for Dyslexia and Related Learning Disorders at Nicholls State University will host its third annual conference on Saturday, Jan. 29, in the Bollinger Memorial Student Union.
The conference will feature a variety of professional breakout sessions as well as a keynote address by Carole Wills, head of the Briarwood School, an independent, non-profit institution in Houston, Texas, that offers a broad range of programs for children with learning differences and developmental delays.
Conference registration is $55 per attendee until Tuesday, Jan. 25 – and $60 thereafter, with on-site registration available. Full-time students will be admitted for $25 per person.
The conference is co-sponsored by the Giardina Family Foundation and the Louisiana branch of the International Dyslexia Association.
