New employees and veterans alike received acknowledgment – including those who have given five, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35 and 40 years of service to Nicholls.

Special awards, including the Mamie Bourgeois Memorial Service Award, two Outstanding Trades Employee Awards and the Presidential Award for Professional Staff, were presented respectively to Charlene Robertson, human resource specialist; Algi Roger, electrician, and Raymond Brazan, maintenance repairer 2, neither of whom is pictured; and Samuel Cagle, associate director of computer services.
