THIBODAUX – African-American History Month 2011 at Nicholls State University will feature a variety of programs and services, all designed to celebrate the African-American experience. This year’s theme is “African-Americans and the Civil War.”
“We read pages stained with blood and tears,” said Farren Clark, instructor of speech and African-American History Month committee member at Nicholls. “Voices echo boldly in joy and pain. And we are inspired.”
