THIBODAUX – The Nicholls State University Department of Athletics is seeking nominations for the Hall of Distinction, an honor that recognizes individuals and groups who have made significant contributions to the Colonels athletics program.
Nominees need not have attended Nicholls but must have been visible supporters in enhancing the quality of life for Nicholls student-athletes. Those wishing to nominate an individual or organization should write a letter of nomination to Chairman, Hall of Distinction Selection Committee, P.O. Box 2066, Nicholls State University, Thibodaux, La., 70310. The committee will consider candidates who have promoted, enhanced or elevated the state of intercollegiate athletics at Nicholls.
Letters of nomination must be received by Friday, Jan. 20, 2012. Honorees will be inducted Saturday, March 3.
