Nicholls Awards Endowed Professorships

THIBODAUX — During its spring faculty institute Thursday, Jan. 16, Nicholls State University Vice President of Academic Affairs Dr. Laynie Barrilleaux presented six new endowed professorships to selected faculty members.

Four Nicholls faculty were awarded endowments made possible by Terrebonne General Medical Center. (L-R)  Dr. Laynie Barrilleaux, vice president for academic affairs at Nicholls State University; Danny Henry, vice chairman, TGMC Board of Commissioners; Morris Hebert, chairman, TGMC Board of Commissioners; Phyllis Peoples, TGMC president and CEO;  Dr. Amanda Eymard, Terrebonne General Endowed Professor in Nursing (Devoted Volunteers); Dr. Todd Keller, Bachelor of Science in Nursing program director and Terrebonne General Endowed Professor in Nursing (Founding Physicians); Dr. Bridget Guidry, Terrebonne General Endowed Professorship in Nursing (Compassionate Staff); Dr. Angelique Allemand, Terrebonne General Endowed Professorship in Nursing (Faithful Sisters of St. Joseph); Dr. Bruce Murphy, Nicholls State University president.
