Dr. Linda Manfrin-Ledet

Associate Professor of Nursing
Students can expect to learn more than what’s in the textbook in Dr. Linda Manfrin-Ledet’s courses. She’s a living reference book—with more than 22 years of experience as a registered nurse in Louisiana.
Manfrin-Ledet began as a nurse at River Oaks Psychiatric Hospital in Harahan in 1984 before accepting a job at DePaul Hospital in New Orleans in 1989. There she became the program director of the Residential Treatment Program for Child and Adolescent Services. She also worked as a home healthcare staff nurse for six years.
Manfrin-Ledet’s areas of specialization include mental health, HIV prevention in women and prevention and intervention in violence and abuse against women. She has been an associate professor of nursing at Nicholls since 1998.
