Department of Nursing Mandatory Nursing Information Sessions
The Department of Nursing will announce the Fall schedule of Nursing Information Sessions in September 2009 for those students intending to apply for entry into the BSN clinical sequence for the Spring Semester 2010. Information Sessions will be held beginning mid-September through mid-November, 2009. Students who will complete the first 36 hours of the Nicholls BSN curriculum by the end of the Fall 2009 semester with a minimum GPA of 2.75 are eligible to apply. Potential applicants should report to 351 Betsy C. Ayo Hall after the schedule has been posted to sign up for a session. Sessions generally last 60 minutes.
Some important considerations:
-The first 36 credit hours of the BSN curriculum must be completed by Fall 2009.
-Application GPA will be calculated using only these 36 credit hours.
-All courses in the first 36 hours must be passed with a minimum grade of “C”
-All applicants must attend a Nursing Information Session to obtain an application.
