How to get invited to Orientation?
In order to be invited to Orientation, a student must have applied and been accepted to Nicholls State University. This means:
First-time Freshman
1. Must have submitted ACT scores to Nicholls
Transfer Students with less than 30 hours
1. Must have submitted college transcripts to Nicholls
2. May have to submit ACT scores if they have not taken an English or a Math at a previous institution
Transfer Students with greater than 30 hours
1. Do not need to attend the day. There will be an optional program later in the summer for those students.
Nontraditional Students
1. Must have submitted either ACT scores or taken a placement test in order to be invited to orientation.
