Nicholls commits to becoming an ‘All-Steinway’ school
Administrators at Nicholls State University confirmed the institution’s commitment to becoming an “All-Steinway” institution on Tuesday, Sept. 22, during the second annual Monster Piano Concert.
The Department of Music at Nicholls State University hosted the second annual Monster Piano Concert on Tuesday, Sept. 22, in Talbot Hall Auditorium on campus.“As any musician will tell you, the Steinway is the world’s finest piano, and I believe that all of our music and music education majors deserve to learn and practice on the finest piano available,” Dr. Stephen T. Welcome to the Department of Music at Nicholls State University. We always have something going on and invite you to be part of it all. The faculty, the staff and the students all work to provide a variety of musical experiences for the university, the community and especially for ourselves. We love music. If you do too, you belong with us at Nicholls.
The Department of Music offers the courses and performance experiences that fulfill the requirements of our degrees: Bachelor of Music Education in either Instrumental or Vocal Music and Bachelor of Arts in Music. We also offer a variety of music courses to the entire Nicholls community.
