Acting Dean, College of Education and Professor of Psychology
Welsh is licensed to practice psychology, with a declared specialty in school psychology, by the Louisiana State Board of Examiners of Psychologists. His recent intellectual musings have explored the function of evolutionary adaptations on the development of behavioral repertoires.
Welsh is also interested in studying the effects of chronic poverty on educational opportunities and outcomes for children.
