Evaluation: Teacher Page

Red text is additional instruction for teachers. The black is the text that appears on the student evaluation page.

This rubric below is used to assess the project. The breakdown is as follows:

Research
24%
Content
24%
Presentation
24%
Language Arts
Mechanics
28%
Cooperative Learning
Group Work
12%

You may want to write down your grading scale on the board at the beginning of the project. It is also helpful ask students what they feel would be acceptable to rate the highest scores as well as what is not acceptable. If possible, you may provide examples of the "standard."

The student checklist is aligned with the rubric. I suggest that you give students a hard copy of the checklist and the rubric .

You may want to add the following criterion: Permission to use text, graphics, video, audio, etc. has been requested.

Both an HTML version and a PDF version of the following rubric are available for students.
