Although TimeLiner is generally used by Language Arts and Social Studies teachers to create, illustrate, and print time lines. It is a versatile, cross-curricular software tool. Science teachers can use TimeLiner to illustrate time, size, weight, distance, and temperature, and Math teachers can use TimeLiner to create graphs illustrating distance, scale, and proportion. TimeLiner allows the user to access extensive graphics librariies, import images from the Web, and create multimedia time lines using movies and sounds. TimeLiner is one of the major software packages covered in Louisiana INTECH.
