The "ArtWorks" website was created as a resource for art educators. Jean's hope is that it becomes a place for Louisiana art educators to communicate, share ideas and showcase some of the outstanding work being created in Louisiana art programs. She believes student work, examples, and projects contributed by teachers can be especially helpful in teaching at all levels. Although this is only a modest beginning, She envisions "ArtWorks" growing as more teachers and student teacher candidates participate. "I invite [everyone] to contribute to its success by submitting work and projects," says Jean. She will continue to update exhibitions and project & processes as she receives work throughout the year.
