NSU PT3 and LACUE Technology Workshop
Using Tomorrow’s Tools in Today's Classrooms

 

Nicholls State University’s PT3 Program and LACUE will be hosting a free-of-charge Saturday workshop for all K-16 teachers and NSU education students in the surrounding parishes. The conference will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2003, in the Bollinger Student Union on Nicholls State University campus. Registration begins at 8:00 am and concurrent sessions will be from 8:30 am - 12:30 pm.

Attending teachers will be able to attend sessions of choice from various concurrent presentations. Concurrent sessions will include:

  • GPS (global positioning systems) in the classroom
  • K-12 classroom--NSU education students electronic partnerships
  • LUMCON's Bayouside Classroom
  • Technology-connected lessons
  • WebQuests
  • Digital video editing
  • Working with graphics
  • Grant writing
  • Microsoft Producer
  • And much more!!

We are looking for presenters and participants!! Please pass this information on to everyone in your district. If you are interested in presenting please let us know right away.
