J. J. Ayo Swimming Pool is available for use during the warmer months of the year. Ayo Pool is an Olympic-sized facility complete with locker rooms and vending services. Ayo Pool generally opens the third week of April and closes the third week of September. Nicholls students, staff and faculty may use the pool free of charge when presenting their valid Colonel Card.
Members of the Nicholls community may bring guests at a charge of $3 per guest. Nicholls employs American Red Cross lifeguards to manage the area.
Community memberships are available to the public at a rate of $160 per family. Students, staff and faculty may purchase family memberships for $50. Community membership forms are available at the pool office.
Swim times are 1 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., six days a week. Ayo Pool is closed on Fridays for pool maintenance.
