How to Register

Advising
Students should contact their academic advisor to arrange a convenient time for advisement and registration. Students will follow the registration schedule listed below. First-time freshmen and transfer freshmen should contact the Advising Center at 985.448.4117 for registration assistance.
To register for classes

  • Login to I.C.A.N.
  • Click Enter Student Services.
  • Enter your Student ID Number and your PIN, then Click Login.
  • Under Registration on the blue navigation bar, click Drop and Add Classes.
  • Follow the instructions that appear.
  • If you are having difficulty scheduling classes, or the classes you need are closed, please contact the Advising Center at 985-448-4117.

Note that registration is according to classification. Please refer to semester registration schedule
(Graduate, SR, JR, SO, FR).
