Respiratory therapists work in a wide variety of settings to evaluate, treat and manage patients of all ages with respiratory illnesses and other cardiopulmonary disorders. Graduates of the Nicholls cardiopulmonary care/respiratory therapy programs are prepared for careers in a variety of health care settings and roles, depending on their education level and acquired credentials.
- Entry-level respiratory therapists (graduates of the associate degree program)
- Advanced respiratory therapists (graduates of the certificate and bachelor’s degree program)
