Curriculum

The advanced respiratory therapy curriculum is composed of 17 credit hours of advanced respiratory therapy course offerings in an accelerated, non-traditional pathway. Courses include academic, laboratory and clinical experiences.

The suggested course sequence is:

Fall semester:
RSPT 301 — Advanced Cardiopulmonary Pathophysiology — 3 credit hours
RSPT 303 — Perinatology and Pediatrics — 3 credit hours
RSPT 305 — Departmental Management and Supervision — 2 credit hours

Spring semester:
RSPT 302 — Advanced Cardiopulmonary Diagnostics and Monitoring — 3 credit hours
RSPT 304 — Advanced Respiratory Therapy Pharmacology — 3 credit hours
RSPT 306 — Advanced Comprehensive Respiratory Therapeutics — 3 credit hours
