Duhe’ Building for Allied Health Sciences.

Cardiopulmonary faculty offices, classrooms and computer laboratory are housed in the Theodore Duhe’ Building in Houma, LA. The cardiopulmonary care science laboratory is located in Room 133 in the Duhe’  Building.

Students have access to cardiopulmonary therapeutic equipment, classroom computer technology and cardiopulmonary analysis software in addition to university computer services. Courses incorporate the use of multi-media presentation equipment as well as an electronic course management system. The computer laboratory is located in Room 177 in the Theodore Duhe’ Building.

Cardiopulmonary care science courses are taught in the program’s multi-media classroom and laboratory. The lab includes six individual stations of medical grade sources of oxygen, air, and vacuum units to connect various respiratory therapy equipment, a multimedia presentation system and Internet access.

Student clinical experiences are at sites in the surrounding geographical area which enhances classroom learning. These sites include hospitals, home care, and other health care facilities.
