What is the Nicholls State University Small Business Development Center?

Ever consider becoming your own boss? A great idea, right? But, you say you're not quite sure how to get your own business started. Or maybe you want to expand or streamline your current business operation. Nicholls State University's Small Business Development Center can help! The Center is part of a nationwide network and the Louisiana Small Development Center (LSBDC) consortium. The Nicholls SBDC, along with its network of Small Business Development Centers, will guide you through the complexities of starting or expanding a small business. It will also link you to resources in the local, state and federal agencies, and the private sector.

The SBDC serves Assumption, Lafourche, St. Mary and Terrebonne parishes by providing specialized managerial and technical assistance to small businesses. It offers information, counseling and assistance to people like you.
