The SEALS Mocktail Party and Pool Tournament will be held on Wednesday, October 15, 2008 in La Maison Clubhouse. The Pool Tournament will begin at 6:00pm.

To participate in the pool tournament, you must sign-up at either Residence Hall A, B, or C. There is a $5 buy-in for the tournament and the winner will receive a $50 grand prize!!

Monies will be collected from Pool Tournament participants prior to the pool game.

The Komen Race for the Cure is a national series of 5K runs and fitness walks benefitting Susan G. Komen for the Cure which funds breast cancer research, education, treatment, and screening programs.

We invite you to join the team in supporting this important community event. Race Registration forms can be picked up in the SEALS Office or at University Health Services. Please return the completed race registration form and $20 fee to the SEALS Office or University Health Services by Thursday, October 16, 2008.  Team members will be given a special team t-shirt  and visor to wear on race day so that we can show our team spirit.

You can also take advantage of the $20 pre-registration fee by registering at the “Party in Pink” on Friday, October 17, 2008, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Peltier Park in Thibodaux or registering online at www.komenbayouregion.org.

Also, don’t forget to bring in your Yoplait pink yogurt lids, because Yoplait will donate $0.10 per lid up to $1.5 million to Susan G. Komen for the Cure® for each pink lid received by December 31, 2008.
