WHEN?
SEPTEMBER 11, 12, 13 and 14, 2011
Voting begins at 12:00 noon on Sunday-September 11th, continues Monday-September 12th, Tuesday-September 13th and ends at 12:00 noon on Wednesday-September 14th, 2011.
WHERE?
ANYWHERE
Online voting allows you to vote anywhere and at any time. You can vote on your computer in your dorm room, on your laptop in the Library, wherever.
You can also vote on the Student Union computers which will be set up like voting booths for the convenience of voting when you visit the Union.
HOW?
ON THE “VOTE NOW” LINK
When voting begins, go to the University Web site Home Page and click the “Vote Now” link. To enter the voting screen, enter your USERNAME (your THIRD PARTY I.D. NUMBER) and your PASSWORD (your BANNER I.D. NUMBER- remember to capitalize the N). These numbers are located in the upper right hand corner when you login to the Banner Self service.
NOTE: IF ANYONE HAS DIFFICULTY LOGGING IN, CONTACT THE SGA OFFICE AT 985-448-4557.
WHO CAN VOTE?
Nicholls State University Student Election Code Article 1, General Provisions, Letter C. Number 4. Defines ELIGIBLE VOTER:
Election Code: “Every student who registers for 7 or more hours in the Fall or Spring Semesters who must pay student self-assessed fees or any student carrying six or fewer hours in the Fall or Spring Semesters who elects to pay the student self-assessed fees.”
(These fees should be paid in the Fee Collection Office. A copy of the receipt should be provided to the SGA office to be entered to vote).
