5th Annual 5K Walk/Run
Join us for the 5th Annual 5K Community Walk/Run on Saturday, April 5, 2008
The community walk/run which was established by the SGA in Spring 2006 to assist the university in accomplishing its goal of improving the accessibility of our campus to our disabled population raised over $200 this year. The proceeds raised from this event will be distributed as follows:
- 25 percent will be awarded to The United Way of South Louisiana which provides services to thousands of Lafourche Parish residents, through 14 agencies within our community.
- 75 percent will be distributed to the NSU Disability Accessibility Fund.
