The Louisiana Swamp Stomp Festival spotlights local and regional musicians; features a variety of south Louisiana foods; offers several presentations on the history, culture, and economic development of the region; and showcases artisans demonstrating their crafts and selling handmade items.

The festival also features the annual Bayou French Education Program, or “Tresors du Bayou,” a popular attraction for thousands of primary and secondary school students from south Louisiana.

The spring 2012 festival is slated for Friday, March 16, through Sunday, March 18 — so keep checking back for updates!
