Dr. Norman Dale Norris

dale-norris-norman.jpgAssociate Professor of Education

It’s no doubt that Dr. Norman Norris is in tune with the trends of public school systems. For 24 years, he garnered experience in elementary, middle and secondary school classrooms across Louisiana and Texas.

Specializing in vocal music and communication arts, Norris has served Madisonville Independent, Spring Branch Independent and Houston Independent school districts in Texas, as well as Beauregard Parish, Iberville Parish, St. Charles Parish and Orleans Parish public school systems in Louisiana.

Norris came to Nicholls in 1998 as an adjunct instructor and was promoted to an associate professor position in 2008. Just like in the public school system, Norris enjoys seeing the growth and improvement of students in his college courses.

In his spare time, Norris enjoys visiting his family and friends.
