Assistant Professor of Education
Teaching a student to read or multiply takes patience, persistence and encouragement. If the student has a learning disability, it takes a truly talented and caring teacher to successfully deliver those same lessons.
That’s Natalie Boudreaux’s expertise — preparing future teachers to work in special educational settings. Her classes focus on everything from behavior intervention and instructional planning for special populations to reading and math difficulties.
“All of our faculty and staff truly care about the profession of education and about the students with which they work,” Boudreaux says. “I enjoy teaching, especially those who are dedicated to special education.”
In her spare time, Boudreaux enjoys spending time with her family, particularly her daughter and twin grandchildren. She also can be found cooking, and often experimenting, in the kitchen or enjoying an outing with friends.
