Business Education

0123-technology-center-15.jpgToday it doesn’t matter if you want to grow up to be an astronaunt, nurse, teacher, lawyer or even an actor. Business skills are vital in virtually every career field.

The Nicholls business education program provides prospective teachers with the skills needed to teach secondary school students how to type efficiently, use common computer software and navigate the Internet.

The curriculum, which includes field experiences and classroom management courses, also incorporates courses from the Nicholls College of Business Administration. Business education majors enroll in accounting, management, computer information systems and business communication courses.

Business education students are required to have a secondary focus. As listed on the curriculum guide, students must complete course requirements for their secondary focus certification.
