Ayo Pool/Campus Recreation
Ayo Pool is open to all Nicholls students from April through September from 1:30 PM until 6:30 PM, Saturday through Thursday, weather permitting. Students must present their Colonel Card upon entering the pool area. Family memberships are available for the pool.
The Campus Recreation Office is located at Ayo Pool. This is home of the intramural sports program at Nicholls.
Intramural leagues are very popular and include a variety of sports. There are fall and spring leagues to choose from. The leagues are designed for students regardless of their athletic ability to come out and have a good time.
The intramural leagues offered are: basketball, flag football, softball, volleyball, lacrosse, and soccer.
Campus Recreation also includes a racquetball court and a exercise center, complete with eliptical machines and treadmills. These facilities are located in the rear of the student union.
