Re: Presidential Award for Professional Staff Selection Committee
The Advisory Council agreed that the composition of the selection committee will consist of five (5) unclassified staff members who volunteer to serve as well as the previous year’s recipient who will serve as chair in ex officio capacity. If more than five staff members volunteer, the Advisory Council will vote by secret ballot to determine who shall serve. After a thorough discussion it was decided that there was no need for a student to serve on this selection committee.
Five people volunteered to serve for 2005. They are:
Debbie Raziano
Linda Peltier
Allison Ayo
Rennee Hicks
Karen Chauvin
Tommy Ponson was the 2004 recipient and will chair the Selection Committee.
In addition, the Advisory Council identified four alternates in the event that one of the original Selection Committee members is unable to complete their services. The alternates are:
Sam Cagle
Terry Dupre
Easton Leboeuf
Bea Wallace
