Messages that appear on the electronic marquee, located on the corner of Highway 1 and Audubon Avenue, are programed by the Office of University Relations. The marquee is used to promote Nicholls, as well as non-partisan, non-exclusionary community events, public service announcements and emergency messages.
How to request that your message be posted to the university’s marquee:
Requests should be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org at least one week prior to the event date. Events will be posted beginning five days prior to the event date unless alternative arrangements are made.
The person or organization making the request — must be a Nicholls employee, student or official marquee sponsor — is responsible for the accuracy of the information submitted. Once the request is received, the Office of University Relations will review, edit, prioritize, and post approved messages to the electronic marquee. (Messages that include personal information or messages, or are partisan or exclusionary in nature will not be posted.)
