Chelsea Clement has served as an instructor and advisor in University College since 2006. She prides herself on encouraging students to ask questions and directing them to helpful resources.
“I enjoy the atmosphere of the Nicholls campus and the cohesiveness within our department,” Clement says. “Our department’s greatest strength is our flexibility in embracing change.”
Likewise, Clement has been involved in a research project to change student’s interest levels in science classes. She conducted studies that compared how students using graphing calculators in science experiments compared to those who did not use calculators.
In her spare time, Clement creates digital scrapbooks and DVD slideshows. Her husband and two sons also keep her busy.
