Opportunities in Student Media:
The Nicholls Worth is a student-produced newspaper that is circulated weekly on campus. Put together by a staff of student editors, reporters, photographers, graphic designers, advertising sales representatives and more, The Nicholls Worth offers a number of paid student employment opportunities.
La Pirogue is the university yearbook and the oldest publication on campus and is distributed annually. This is a completely student-run publication and offers paid positions as editor, section editors, copy editors, staff writers and photographers.
KNSU is the Nicholls radio station that is operated and broadcasted from our on-campus station. Content is student-produced and varies in topic and musical taste. KNSU offers students the opportunity to host their own radio show, work behind the scenes as a station manager, or fill a number of other positions that make the campus radio station come to life.
Nicholls Television Workshop is a component of the Department of Mass Communication. Students enrolled in courses under the broadcast curriculum have the opportunity to learn what goes into video production while gaining experience both in front of and behind the camera.
