Trisha Zeringue Rabalais
Trisha Rabalais is a designer, educator, and book artist from Thibodaux, Louisiana. In 2002, Trisha earned her Bachelor of Arts degree with an emphasis in Graphic Design from Nicholls State University. In 2005 she earned her Masters of Fine Arts degree from the University of Houston where she concentrated in Graphic Communications.
In addition to teaching, Trisha is a freelance designer and exhibiting book artist. She has produced notable design work for clientele throughout the region and has served on the AIGA (American Institute of Graphic Arts) New Orleans Chapter board of directors. Trisha’s sculptural artist books have also been accepted and exhibited in several national juried book art exhibitions. The inspiration behind her work exists somewhere between the beginning and end of great moments in a person’s life—moments which become both intimate and timeless. She enjoys exploring the flow and visual rhythms found naturally in the tactility of materials. She is currently an Associate Professor of Art at Nicholls State University and teaches all levels of graphic design courses.
