MISSION
The Colonel Athletic Association will assist the athletic department in fundraising activities, increasing fan support and the overall promotion of Nicholls State University athletics.
WHY THE CAA
Nicholls Athletics sponsors 17 Division 1 sports teams and 415 student-athletes. Many of these athletes receive full or partial scholarships. The CAA assist the Athletic Department with the costs associated to provide a well-rounded student-athlete experience.
WAYS TO SUPPORT
In order for our programs to continue to compete for Southland Conference Championships, we need each and everyone of you to join the Colonel Athletic Association. Your contribution is integral to our programs. Every dollar goes to the advancement of our programs and enhances opportunities for our student-athletes. Our programs are a point of pride for the bayou region and all Colonel alumni. We would like to continue to increase the support given by our community because we cannot do this without your help and support. Learn more about the various projects we have going on below.

Gifts to the CAA will be used in a variety of ways including:
- Creating a First-Class Experience for Nicholls Student-Athletes
- Scholarships, including Summer School
- Facility Enhancements
- Operational Expenses
- Salary Supplements
The Colonel Athletic Association offers (6) membership levels with various corresponding benefits to the donor. Any person interested in joining the CAA can do so with cash, check, or credit card. Memberships can be paid in full or by installment. All contributions to the CAA are technically recognized on a July 1st to June 30th fiscal year, but the CAA MEMBERSHIP DRIVE BEGINS IN APRIL of each year and members will be recognized from the date of membership each calendar year.
