TAILGATE COOK-OFF REGISTRATION

Registration Rules & Information:

  • The entry fee is $150.00 per dish.  A separate registration is required for each dish entered.

  • Each cooking team can have a maximum of four-(4) team members.

  • Each cooking team is responsible for preparing 100 serving for each dish entered.

  • The cooking grounds will be in the tailgate area outside the North End Zone of John L. Guidry Stadium on the campus of Nicholls State University.

  • Cooking grounds will open at 6:00 AM on the day of the event for set-up.

  • Judging will be by division beginning at 5:00 PM and continue in 20 minute intervals. The order will be determined once registration is complete.

  • Each cooking team is responsible for their own ingredients, supplies and equipment.

  • Judging will be based on Taste, Creativity & Appearance.

  • Awards will be given to the winning team in each division.

  • A People’s Choice will be selected from division winners.
