REASONS FOR GIVING
Every donor makes a difference and your gift, regardless of size, has a direct impact on all student-athletes here at Nicholls. It is imperative that our student-athletes receive the support they need to compete and succeed at the highest level. Your contribution to the Colonel Athletic Association will help us provide each program with the resources needed to compete on the field of play and in the classroom.
FUNDRAISING PRIORITIES
- Scholarship Support – Assisting student-athletes in their pursuit of a college degree
- Academic Support – Developing student-athletes and preparing them to be leaders in the community
- Facility Enhancements – Facilities are instrumental to helping current Colonel student-athletes succeed in the classroom and in competition, and are also critical to attracting high potential recruits
- Salary Supplements – These make it possible for Nicholls to attract and retain the highest caliber coaches and staff in the NCAA
- Operational Needs – Needs that are not budgeted and unique opportunities inevitably arise each year

Gifts to the CAA will be used in a variety of ways including:
- Creating a First-Class Experience for Nicholls Student-Athletes
- Scholarships, including Summer School
- Facility Enhancements
- Operational Expenses
- Salary Supplements
The Colonel Athletic Association offers (6) membership levels with various corresponding benefits to the donor. Any person interested in joining the CAA can do so with cash, check, or credit card. Memberships can be paid in full or by installment. All contributions to the CAA are technically recognized on a July 1st to June 30th fiscal year, but the CAA MEMBERSHIP DRIVE BEGINS IN APRIL of each year and members will be recognized from the date of membership each calendar year.
