Nicholls is a campus for the community, and the Office of Camps and Special Programs is committed to showcasing our commitment to life-long learning.<\/p>

It is our goal to provide personal enrichment through education.\u00a0Youth summer camps<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0adult non-credit courses<\/strong>\u00a0are two areas that provide unique opportunities to learn new skills, pick up new hobbies or meet new people with similar interests.<\/p>

For those focused on the future, we offer career training through our\u00a0Workforce Development<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0program. Live and online course options can help you bring valuable skills back to your current job or even prepare you for a new career.<\/p>

Become a Camps and Special Programs instructor<\/strong>\u00a0and share your talents and skills through your very own class. Begin by completing our\u00a0Course Proposal Form.\u00a0<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0Return completed form to the Office of Continuing Education \u00a0(campus map)<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0or mail to P.O. Box 2119, Thibodaux, LA 70310.<\/p>

Our Policies<\/b><\/p>

Here are the answers to some common questions about our policies. If you need additional information, please call 985-448-4444 or email camps@nicholls.edu<\/a>.<\/p>

Cancellation\/Transfer Policy
<\/b>Cancellation policies differ by program. Please review our policies carefully and contact our office as soon as you become aware that you will not be able to attend a scheduled program.<\/p>

Course Locations and Parking
<\/b>Program and event locations vary by course. Details will be provided in your registration confirmation email and in reminder emails leading up to the program. Please be sure to check your registration confirmation and reminder emails for the most up to date program information.<\/p>

Inclement Weather
<\/b>In case of inclement weather, we will make every effort to cancel courses and events with as much advance notice as possible. In all instances, we will follow the university\u2019s cancellation decisions. Please refer to the Nicholls website for weather updates and class cancellation information.<\/p>

Low Enrollment
<\/b>We reserve the right to cancel classes due to low enrollment, therefore we encourage you to register early.\u00a0 Determination is made one week prior to the start of the course\/camp.<\/p>

Privacy Policy
<\/b>The Office of Camps and Special Programs follows the university\u2019s privacy policy.<\/p>

Refunds<\/b><\/p>

Cancelled Registration:<\/b> A full refund of the registration fee (less a $25 processing fee) will be made if the Office of Camps and Special Programs is notified before the registration deadline. The registration deadline for each program is one week prior to the start date unless otherwise stated. No refund will be made after the registration deadline. Refunds takes four to six weeks to process.<\/p>

Cancelled Programs:<\/b> The university reserves the right to cancel any program in which there is not sufficient enrollment. In the event that a program is cancelled or closed, a full refund will be issued, or an opportunity to transfer to another program will be extended.<\/p>

Registration\/Payment
<\/b>Registration may be done in person, by mail or online at our website. The registration deadline for each program is one week prior to the start date, unless otherwise noted. Registrations received after the registration deadline will be considered late and may be subject to an additional $10 late fee.<\/p>

Payments can be made in the form of cash, check, money order or credit card. Make checks and money orders payable to Nicholls State University. Regardless of when a person registers or the format used, once a person registers for a program, payment in full is required.<\/p>
