Through innovative instruction, honors students receive a distinctly personal education that significantly involves them in the learning process.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Students with Disabilities<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>The Student Access Center (formerly Disability Services) provides assistance to students with disabilities in their adjustment to college and serves as a liaison with faculty to accommodate students with disabilities.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>International Students<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>International Student \u00a0Services assists international students\u00a0\u00a0in the transition to \u00a0university life upon their arrival and throughout their studies. The International Services Office coordinates immigration advising, orientation, welcome events, tax preparation assistance, advises the international student organization and maintains\u00a0Federal compliance.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Student Athletes<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>The Office of Athletic Academic Advising supervises all aspects of academic compliance, including scheduling and registration, monitoring or progress toward degree, and eligibility. This office also administers the Athletic Life Skills Program which combines the efforts of the NSU Athletics and other services on campus to enhance the quality of the student-athlete experience.
