The College of Liberal Arts provides a challenging and supportive environment that promotes a comprehensive understanding of chosen major disciplines and the development of students\u2019 innate talents and creativity.<\/p>\n<p>An outstanding faculty shapes the teaching, research, creative work, and service of the College. To earn a minor, a student must complete 18-24 hours in the minor field. The fifteen (15) hours require successful completion of 6 semester hours from two of the three areas\u00a0listed below and 3 semester hours from the remaining area, a minimum of 9 semester hours in courses numbered 300 or above, and no more than 6 semester hours from study abroad courses (including all related lectures and labs).
