Caleb Bagwell <\/h3>

Caleb Bagwell hails from Norco, Louisiana, and is an undergrad in Secondary Education in the\nEnglish Language Arts at Nicholls State University. He\u2019s currently a resident teacher with plans\nto get his master\u2019s and teach English literature in the university setting. Caleb intends to publish\nmore of his various essays, articles, and stories in the near future as well. When he\u2019s not writing\nor teaching, he spends his time reading his favorites; Franz Kafka, Kurt Vonnegut, and Albert\nCamus. Other than that, he can be seen hiking, playing with his dog, Pumpkin, watching\nGodzilla films, and spending time with his partner.\n<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Quincy Kirn<\/h3>

Quincy Kirn is currently a student at Pensacola State College where she is pursuing an associate\ndegree. In January 2027, she will begin the broadcast journalism bachelor's program at the\nUniversity of Central Florida. She is the Editor-in-Chief for The Corsair, Pensacola State\u2019s\nstudent run newspaper, and is an advocate for First Amendment freedoms. Over the summer of\n2026, she was an editor for Pensacola\u2019s independent arts and culture magazine, Just-Opposed,\nhelping challenge censorship and distributing 500 copies of student-created articles and designs\nto the community. Quincy\u2019s work focuses on university accountability, sharing stories of\nindividuals in the LGBTQ+ community, and local event coverage. In her spare time, she enjoys\noil painting portraits and horseback riding.\n<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Sloan Duet<\/h3>

Sloan Duet is a junior college student at Nicholls State University pursuing a bachelor\u2019s degree in English creative writing. She is currently studying many different types of writing and literature but is particularly interested in fiction. Her most recent essay explores a thesis about the Novel Dracula in her Introduction to Writing and Research in the Discipline class. She never expected the paper to go this far, from being presented at Nicholls State University and Southeastern Louisiana University to now being in a journal. She cannot wait to see where her writing journey takes her. After graduating, she plans to gain a writing job in the future, but eventually wants to write her own books in the fiction fantasy genre\n\n\n\n<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Shannon Fabre<\/h3>

Shannon Fabre is a native of Bayou Sale Louisiana and a long time resident of Thibodaux and surrounding areas in the region. Shannon is a graduate of Nicholls State University with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature. She is currently working on a master\u2019s degree in Liberal Arts with a concentration in Jewish studies at Tulane University. She is the mother of two beautiful daughters, Laura and Evangeline, and lives now in Thibodaux with Evangeline.\n<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Lucy Gottschalk <\/h3>

Lucy Gottschalk is a student at Nicholls State University from Houma, Louisiana. She is majoring in English Literary Studies with a minor in Public History. Currently, Lucy is working as a Historical Intern for the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux. She has participated in the 2025 Nicholls Scholar\u2019s Expeaux, where she won third place for her paper \u201cPublic Sin and Private Shame,\u201d and was chosen to attend the 2025 ULS Academic Summit. Lucy fell in love with words at a young age and she has let her passion guide her studies in her academic career. When she is not reading or researching, she loves to spend her time volunteering at her local animal shelter helping calm anxious dogs. <\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
