Nicholls State University’s Chef John Folse Culinary Institute program and Marista de Merida University have entered into an Academic Cooperative and Exchange agreement for Marista de Merida’s students to be allowed to explore a program focused on the education of Cajun and Creole Culture/Cuisine as well as the rich history of Louisiana. Students will also study hospitality and tourism. The program will involve: lectures, food laboratory involvement, tours, guest speakers and student/campus activities. The program will begin with arrival on Sunday, January 26, 2020 through Friday, February 7, 2020.
COST:
4 Person per room cost per participant: $1,030.00
3 Person per room cost per participant: $1,140.00
2 Person per room cost per participant: $1,355.00
** A $25.00 Wire transfer fee is not included in above costs **
Marista de Merida University’s participants will be responsible for the following:
1. Subject to academic rules and discipline of Nicholls State University.
2. Payment of program fees (includes room, lab, tours, board, most meals and some transportation).
3. Secure necessary health insurance and to pay medical costs.
4. Pay cost of food and transportation not covered under program fees.
