Current Topics in Legal and Ethical Issues for School Psychology
Location: Bollinger Suites, Nicholls State University Student Union or VIA ZOOM (Link to be provided to registered participants)
• Understand the 2020 NASP Training Domains and the broad role of the school psychologist.
• Understand the 2020 NASP Standards for Ethics and identify changes from the prior code.
• Discuss recent legal cases relevant to serving the school community.
CEUs – Meets the requirement for training in LEGAL and ETHICAL issues.
2.0 credits will be provided to those attending a full session.
This presentation is intended for all school professionals. The Nicholls State University’s School Psychology Program is approved by the National Association of School Psychologists to offer professional development. Nicholls State University’s School Psychology Department maintains responsibility for this program.
About our Presenters
Carmen Broussard, Kelli Henson and Mary-Katherine Talley are faculty for the Nicholls Specialist in School Psychology Program.
