As we wait for vaccines to become widely available, it is imperative that we get tested regularly. In addition to free public testing provided by the National Guard, we will have free rapid testing available to faculty, staff and students on campus through University Health Services.

Our check-in protocols are important for screening individuals who are symptomatic, but rapid testing will help us determine who is asymptomatic. As we discover those cases early on, we can decrease the chance of outbreaks, and ultimately the positivity rates in Lafourche and Terrbonne parishes. This is important because it will bring us one step closer to returning to our normal lives.

We encourage every student to get tested regularly at any of the locations listed below.

It is imperative that we make this an entire campus effort for the health and safety of us all. So get tested, wear your masks, socially distance, wash your hands, and volunteer if you are able.

If you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, visit UHS or your healthcare provider.
Do NOT visit the locations in academic buildings.
