Benefits of Naming Rights
University naming rights enhance your company’s reputation demonstrating strong support of higher education. Your contribution to modernizing our facilities is a vital part of our students’ success. As a naming rights sponsor, your branded logo is prominently featured on the room, as well as included in all printed brochures, schedules, and electronic advertising. Your corporate name also becomes the official moniker for the room at assemblies, meetings, workshops, lectures, and other public events.
$250,000 – The Greenhouse (entire facility)
The Greenhouse at Nicholls State University is located directly across from the Chef John Folse Culinary Institute and was originally constructed in October of 1959. In years past the greenhouse was used for growing exotic and local plants to use around campus. Dr. Jay Clune has made this project part of his campus beautification initiative to restore the greenhouse to its former glory and use it to grow herbs and vegetables for the Chef John Folse Culinary Institute. With assistance from the Bridge to Independence program this greenhouse full of hydroponic Tower Gardens will be a source of revenue and agricultural education for students, alumni, and the Thibodaux community alike. This greenhouse consists of a multipurpose room, an enclosed greenhouse with 3 sections, a shop, a staging facility, outdoor garden beds and a citrus grove. The enclosed greenhouse space is divided into 3 equal connected greenhouses roughly 25 ft x 22 ft. Each space can hold approximately 30 tower gardens.
$50,000 – Multipurpose Room
The multi-purpose room can be transformed for classes, events, corporate retreats, and more. This space can hold approximately 50 people.
$50,000 – Outdoor Garden
This 1,000 sq ft garden space features 3 14 ft x 20 ft raised beds for planting in-season produce and herbs.
$50,000 – Greenhouse Shop
This shop will be used to sell produce and herbs produced in our garden and greenhouse. The shop will be run by students from our Bridge to Independence Program. This space will also host farmers markets and act as an art gallery for our art students.
$10,000 – Citrus Grove
The citrus grove surrounds the outside garden.
