Sick Tray Program

Are you feeling sick?  Can’t make it to the Galliano Dining Hall to eat?  Nicholls Dining can help.

In an effort to assist campus residents with meal plans during a period of illness, you may request a sick tray.  Meals will be based on a pre-determined menu in accordance with University Health Services recommendations for clear liquids and/or foods best tolerated with cold and/or flu-like symptoms.  Your sick tray meal will be counted as a breakfast, lunch, or dinner meal on your meal plan depending on the time of the day.  If you do not have a seven-day meal plan and need a sick tray on the weekend, you may pay with Cash, Colonel Ca$h or  Munch Money.

How does it work?

Please do the following:

  1. Download/complete the Sick Tray Request Form
  2. Contact Campus Dining, 985.448.4513 or 985.448.4029 to place the order (at least 30 minutes in advance, please).
  3. Send a designated person (SA or friend) to Galliano Hall Cafeteria with the completed Sick Tray Request form and to pick-up the meal.
