Student’s Responsibility

What is the student’s responsibility in obtaining accommodations?

In order to receive reasonable accommodations from the Student Access Center (SAC), students must:

  1. self-identify concerning disability status to SAC in a timely manner (if possible, within two weeks after the semester starts),
  2. schedule an appointment with the Director for registration or changes to current accommodations,
  3. provide current documentation of the disability that qualifies under ADA (Section 504 Subpart E) and
  4. complete the SAC registration process.
