ID and password, then click the &#8220;Login&#8221; box<\/li><li>Select &#8220;Student&#8221;<\/li><li>Select &#8220;Student Accounts&#8221;<\/li><li>Select &#8220;Account Detail for Term&#8221;<\/li><li>Select the applicable term<\/li><li>Click &#8220;Submit&#8221;<\/li><li>The account detail for the term is displayed<\/li><li>Scroll to the bottom of the page<\/li><li>Click on &#8220;Make Payment&#8221; in the gray bar at the bottom of the screen<\/li><li>Click on the &#8220;my bill&#8221; button &#8211; this will take you to the Heartland Touchnet electronic payment processing center<\/li><li>The next screen will have 3 boxes across the top &#8211; the &#8220;Student Account&#8221; box (the middle box) offers three options<ul><li>View Activity<\/li><li>Enroll in Payment Plan (refer to Online Payment Plan page for further instructions &#8211;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nicholls.edu\/fees\/installment-payment-plan\/\">https:\/\/www.nicholls.edu\/fees\/installment-payment-plan\/<\/a> )<\/li><li>Make Payment (follow on screen prompts to make a payment using a credit card or electronic check payment)<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><p>1.\u00a0 <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">On-line Payment Options through\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Banner Self Serve on the Nicholls website<\/span>\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p style=\"padding-left: 30px\">a.\u00a0\u00a0<em>Credit Card<\/em>\u00a0 &#8211; \u00a0\u00a0A student may pay online using\u00a0a credit card through his\/her Banner student account &#8211; all major credit cards accepted.\u00a0 (See instructions below to pay online.)\u00a0 Credit card payments are not accepted at the Fee Collection windows. \u00a0 <strong>Please note that a convenience fee will be charged by the processor for on-line credit card payments.\u00a0 <\/strong>\u00a0<strong>These fees can be substantial depending on the amount that is being paid.\u00a0 <\/strong>To avoid the convenience fee, a student may use one of the other options listed below.<\/p><p style=\"padding-left: 30px\">b.\u00a0 <em>Electronic Check<\/em>\u00a0 through Banner Self Serve &#8211; A student may pay tuition and fees utilizing a web check. The student&#8217;s bank account number and routing number is needed for this option. There is no fee charged for electronic check payment. <strong>Please make sure that information being entered is correct.\u00a0 A $15 returned check charge will be assessed to any electronic check payment that is not honored by the bank or cannot be processed.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p><p style=\"padding-left: 30px\">c. \u00a0<em>Loans<\/em> &#8211; Students who indicate they wish to receive a student loan, must accept the total or partial amount awarded on their Banner account. If you are receiving a loan, you also MUST sign a Direct Lending Promissory Note and complete entrance counseling. You may sign the note at <a href=\"https:\/\/studentaid.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">http:\/\/studentaid.gov<\/a>. From this page, sign in to manage your direct loan and follow provided instructions. <span style=\"color: #ff00ff\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Your loan may appear on your account beginning\u00a010 days prior to the first day of class each semester if your financial aid file is complete<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\">.<\/span><\/span> A delay in signing the Promissory note will delay your refund and may cause you to incur late charges.<\/p><p>2.\u00a0 <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Fee Payment Option for\u00a0International Students<\/span> &#8211;<\/p><p style=\"padding-left: 30px\"><em>Flywire (formerly peerTransfer)<\/em>&#8211;\u00a0\u00a0Nicholls State University has partnered with Flywire in order to streamline the process of international payments.
