Fall 2026 Scholarships Available<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Applications should be submitted no later than the close of business on the deadline date noted in the scholarship description. \u00a0<\/strong>If the application is not available online, you can pick up a copy of the application in the Scholarship Office, or you can email brandy.stpierre@nicholls.edu<\/a> for a copy.\u00a0 Students who have received other scholarships\/awards, have extra-curricular involvement, or are members of campus or community organizations may submit or upload a copy of their student activities resume.<\/p>\n

THE CELESTE GROS SILVERNAIL ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP [4 @ $1250]:\u00a0 will be awarded to a student enrolled full-time or program full-time in the BSN program at Nicholls State University.\u00a0 The applicant must be enrolled in NURS 355 or higher at the time of receipt of the scholarship.\u00a0 The scholarship committee will give preference to a resident of Lafourche parish.\u00a0 The applicant must have and maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher.\u00a0 In addition to the application, the student must submit a typed 250-word essay detailing why they should receive the scholarship.\u00a0 The deadline to apply is\u00a0August 28, 2026. <\/strong>\u00a0Applications are available in the Scholarship Office or by emailing <\/strong>brandy.stpierre@nicholls.edu<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

The Dr. Colette Leistner Memorial Scholarship<\/a> is a $500 scholarship ($250 fall\/$250 spring semester) awarded to full-time students majoring in Dietetics. Students eligible are in senior standing in the DPD program. The recipient will receive the scholarship for one academic year and must maintain a 2.75-grade point average to maintain the scholarship. The scholarship will be awarded to students who can demonstrate a commitment to the Nicholls community, as well as the dietetics program and student organization. The deadline to apply is\u00a0August 28, 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Danny LeBlanc Memorial Scholarship<\/a> is awarded to students of junior status in a food-service related concentration, in honor of Danny LeBlanc, who was a Dietetics student at Nicholls State University. This scholarship awards $500 to the applicant selected by the AHSC Scholarship Committee who demonstrates leadership qualities in the area of nutrition and food service.\u00a0 The deadline to apply is\u00a0August 28, 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n

ELODIE BROWN CHABERT SCHOLARSHIP IN NURSING [1 @ $1000]:\u00a0 will be awarded to a full-time student majoring in Nursing at Nicholls State University.\u00a0 The applicant can be of any classification but must have and maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA or higher.\u00a0 The applicant must be a parent of a child or children.\u00a0 The deadline to apply is\u00a0August 28, 2026. <\/strong>\u00a0Applications are available in the Scholarship Office or by emailing <\/strong>brandy.stpierre@nicholls.edu<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

THE KENNEDI FORET MARINE BIOLOGY UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP [1 @ $250]:\u00a0 is open to students who are graduates of a Lafourche Parish High School who are currently enrolled as a full-time student at Nicholls State University.\u00a0 Students must be a Biology major with a concentration in Marine Biology.\u00a0 Applicants must be of Sophomore, Junior, or Senior classification with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Please complete the application <\/strong>here<\/a><\/strong>. The deadline to apply is August 28, 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Michael and Christine Bourgeois Endowed Upper Class\/Alumni Scholarship #7 [4 @ $500]:\u00a0 will be awarded to full-time Nicholls Undergraduate Senior or an Alumni Graduate student at Nicholls State University. Applicants will be graduates of any high school in Lafourche or Terrebonne Parishes.\u00a0 Each recipient must be a citizen of the United States and a registered voter in Ward 6 of Lafourche Parish (Chackbay area) and must attach a copy of their Voters ID Card to the application.\u00a0 The recipient must be in good academic standing with the university.\u00a0 The student may receive the scholarship for one semester, but past recipients can reapply along with other applicants for consideration each fall and spring semester.\u00a0 Past recipients are allowed to reapply each semester.\u00a0 The deadline to apply is August 28, 2026.<\/strong>\u00a0 \u00a0The application is available in the Scholarship Office or by emailing brandy.stpierre@nicholls.edu<\/a><\/p>\n

The New Orleans Saints Sports Medicine Scholarship<\/a> is a $250 scholarship awarded to a full-time student majoring in a sports medicine related program (i.e., Health Sciences: Pre-Athletic Training Concentration, Health Sciences: Pre-Professional, etc.) in the College of Sciences and Technology. The recipient will be classified as either a junior or senior and have earned at least a 2.50 cumulative GPA at the time of application. The recipient shall hold the scholarship for two consecutive semesters (one academic year), provided all of the above criteria are met.\u00a0 The deadline to apply is\u00a0August 28, 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n

THE SCOTT-VICKNAIR LAW FIRM SCHOLARSHIP [1@ $1000 for one year]:\u00a0\u00a0is awarded to a full-time student at Nicholls State University originally from Lafourche Parish.\u00a0 The recipient may be of any classification.\u00a0 The recipient must have an interest in Law, either as a major or interest academically.\u00a0 Students must submit an essay of no more than 750 words explaining what experiences in their life, current events, or issues from history that had an impact on their interest in law.\u00a0 The essay, which must include the student\u2019s name, Nicholls ID number and Nicholls email address, must be returned to the Scholarship Office in Candies Hall or by email to\u00a0brandy.stpierre@nicholls.edu \u00a0<\/b><\/a>The deadline to apply is August 28, 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Teddy Duhe Scholarship<\/a> is a $250 scholarship awarded to full-time (12 or more hours) students at Nicholls State University. The student must have a declared major in any of the Allied Health Sciences programs (Pre-Athletic Training\/Kinesiology, Communicative Disorders, Dietetics, Health Science Professional Practice, and Health Science Supervision and Management). The recipient must have a 3.25 GPA. If the student is an entering freshman, he\/she will be TOPS qualified.\u00a0 The scholarship is for one year at $250 per semester. The deadline to apply is\u00a0August 28, 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n

THIBODAUX REGIONAL HEALTH SYSTEM AUXILIARY NURSING SCHOLARSHIP [1 @ $ 1000]:\u00a0 is awarded to a student with a declared major of Bachelor of Science in Nursing. The applicant must be enrolled full-time in NURS 222\/223, 255, 355, 371, 381, 400, 420, or 428.\u00a0 The recipient must have and maintain at least a 2.5 GPA or higher in courses that apply toward their BSN degree.\u00a0 The applicant must also be a resident of Lafourche, Terrebonne, Assumption, or St. Mary Parish.\u00a0 The deadline to apply is\u00a0August 28, 2026.\u00a0 <\/strong>Applications are available in the Scholarship Office or by emailing <\/strong>brandy.stpierre@nicholls.edu<\/strong><\/a> \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n
